The Goal
Pledge the amount of miles you can run by December 12th, 2012, then raise $1 for every mile pledged!

The Story
On June 10th 2011, I learned my mother Anne Hatkoff was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Carcinoma. We Ran For Anne was born that day: I decided to fight this disease with her. We're a non-profit website dedicated to bringing an end to this devastating disease by asking our friends, family, and anyone who has been affected by cancer to pledge to run a certain amount of miles by 12/12/12 - my mother's birthday. On that day, we're donating every penny raised to The American Cancer Society in her name.

How can you help?
1)   Donate an amount of your choice now to support the fight against cancer
2)   Pledge to run as many miles as you can between 12/12/11 and 12/12/12, and fundraise by having friends, co-workers, and family members sponsor you. If you run 50 miles, one person could sponsor 15 of them ($15) and another could sponsor 35 ($35). Direct them here to learn more and contribute!
3)   Spread the site link with Facebook, Twitter, carrier pigeon, Google+, email - however you can!

I'm running for Anne.
Who are you running for?
